Cuti panjang

A'kum n salam sejahtera.

Lama aku x tulis kat blog aku ni. Hmm... sebok giler. Skrg ni pun still sebok sebenarnya. Tp ada celah sket lah. Apa aku nk citer ek ?

Psl cuti baru2 nilah. Ada cuti pjg, Raya Cina + Awal Muharram. Start 28 Jan - 1 Feb 2006.

Mentua aku dtg dr Johor(mak n abah). Stay kat umah kakak ipar aku. Rumah kitorg dekat2 je. Bawak keta x sampai 5 minit dah sampai. Belum sempat masuk gear 2 dah sampai. :D.

Dorg stay seminggu. Dtg ari Jumaat 27 Jan dan akan balik esok, 3 Feb.. Ingat nk ajak stay umah aku gak sari dua. Tp, kat umah aku ada sepupu aku yg tgh tugggu kerja. So dia stay kat umah aku sampai lusa. Dia start keje 6 Feb. Kat Western Digital. Dia ni tgh tgu result STPM. So cari keje dulu, cari duit.

Anyway, itu ari, wife and I pegi Puduraya, nk belikan tiket dorg(mentua). Sesak giler. Penuh dgn Bangla n Indon. Aku pun suspen gak. Tgh2 sesak mcm nilah salunya pencopet2 amik peluang. So aku raba handset aku yg letak kat pinggang. Ada lagi. Aku raba plak dompet aku kat poket belakang. Ada lagi. Aku rilek jelah.

Dipendekkan citer, aku beli tiket. Balik umah ipar. Tiba2 aku bukak pouch henset aku. Tgk2 dah kosong. Aghhhhh... dah kena dah. Nasib baik dompet aku x kena sapu.

Tension betullah. Kita leka kejap aje. Boleh terkena. Ini lah zaman skrg ni.

Itulah alkisahnya.

Moral of the story, jgn lepa...

Continueing where i left off...

But then, came Mawi. A nashid enthusiast who dared himself venturing into the pop world. I'm not sure what he got in his mind. He came accross as a god-fearing person to me. So, why go into the area where no god-fearing people dare to go. Malaysian music industry. I admit, I watch quite a lot of AF3. I bet he himself never thot that he would get that far. Let alone becoming one of the biggest phenomena in the country's music industry. I bet he was just trying to use AF as a platform to intro himself to the nation.

He is a nasyid singer, but once u joined AF, u cannot fix to one genre only. So, like it or not, he has to go with the flow...

Has to go now...

CU later...

Leteeeeh...

A'kum to all,

I just read an article sent thru' email entitled 'Trend Mengurangkan Rasa Berdosa', translated as 'The trend of lessening the sinful feeling'. It's all about those who get involve in Malaysian music industry without feeling the guilty of betraying their religious teachings. Our religion says, one should cover his/her 'aurat' in public. But most of the women singers/actresses do not cover thier aurat.

All muslims are required to pray 5 times a day without fail.(Unless forgivable by syara' such as having a period for women) But I've seen many concerts during prayer time. Yes, sometimes it's between Maghrib and Isya'. But many spectators were already there before Maghrib. So, where and when they can do their prayer.

For the artist, they need to prepare themselves 3 or 4 hours before the show. They need to put on the makeup and so on. Imagine this, the concert starts at 8.30 pm. That means, they have to start putting on the make-up at 4.30. So, how to pray Maghrib ?

So, generally the entertainment industry in Malaysia is a no go area for god fearing people of Malaysia.

Have to go now. Continue next time...

Weekend

A'kum,

How's ur weekend ? Mine ok.

I took a leave on Friday to settle on the bills. These days, u hv to take a leave to pay utr bills. Govt. sectors no longer work on Saturday. I know, some bills can be paid online. But not all of them.

Another thing, I did was get my car serviced. Changed regular things; engine oil, plugs and oild filter. Also changed my break pad (front). I bought all the parts from spare parts store at PJ state. The price is cheaper than most other shops around KL. Eg: Engine Oil Castrol GTX2, I got for 38 when at most other shops sell them for 44.

Then get them done at workshop. The regular w/shop I went to was full, so I went somewhere else. The labour charge was slightly higher tahn that of my regular w/shop, but it does not matter so much.

Anyway, there was football again on tv this weekend. World Cup qualifier. Managed to catch the England - Austria match. Lampard scored the only goal from penalaty spot after a foul on Owen. Overall a 6 out of 10 in terms of entertainment. Noone in particular was outstanding in the match. Sol Campbell returned after injury in the expense of Rio Ferdinand. Anyway, he hit an injury again towards the end. Got replaced by Rio Ferdinand. Crouch started the game partnering Owen up front. The midfield lined up by Beckham, Gerard and Joe Cole other than Lampard. Partnering Sol Campbell in the heart of defence was the in-form John Terry of Chelsea. Eric Young (never heard of him before) started on the right back with Caragher on the left.

According to this morning's Eurosportsnews on Astro, England has qualified as one of the best 2nd place winner as Holland defeated Republic Czech in Amsterdam. No idea how the calculation is done. They still have another match against Poland who is currently topping the group.

Btw, I managed to watch the goals scoredby Holland in the match vs Czech. Both are initialised by Arjen Robben. I think he'a a man on top of his form at the moment. It will be a loss for Chelsea not to play him again. In the last match with Chelsea, he only came in, midway thru' the 2nd half.

That's it about football. Now, about my beloved wife. We went for checkup last Saturday because of her having irregular period. Actually, that was our 2nd visit. During the 1st visit, the doctor found nothing wrong with her. She checked her womb and there was nothing wrong whatsoever. She asked her to come back in the next one or two weeks for blood test. Then, yesterday we came. When her name was called, she went in on her own. Seconds later, the doctor sent for me. I went in, and what I found out what really unexpected. The first view of my first baby. My wife was pregnant!!! The feeling was undescribable. After all these 7 months. We will be having a baby by May next year insyaAllah. I wonder how it is gonna be. Unbelievable. My wife was also ecstatic about the news. She has stopped having pregnancy test for some time after a few dissappointments. I told, hope for the best, expect the worse, take what comes. Even if we could not have a baby, we could always adopt. But, Allah has other plan for us. Let's make do'a for the baby so that he/she'll be healthy. To my wife also. Be healthy always.

Ok... Please make do'a for us.

Wassalaaam...

Have a happy Ramadhan

Well, not a bad start to Ramadhan this year.

Wife and I got to go for Tarawikh last night. Only 8 raka'at + 3 witir. The masjid that we went to actually did 20. We stopped at 8 and continue with the witir. The surah recited are surah lazim. I khow that, there are a lot of masjid which invite hafiz to lead the tarawikh prayer. But, this masjid is not one of them. Anyway, we finished at around 9.15 pm.

We also had sahur at 5.15 this morning. My wife had to get up earlier than that to prepare the food. May god bless her for the sacrifice. We also had his brother who's staying with us for the sahur.

K 4 now. got to work.

Ramadhan datang lagi...

Yes, it's that time of the year again. Islamic lunar year that is.

This is the time when all obedient muslims have to restrain themselves from eating and drinking from dusk till dawn. From Subuh till Maghib to be more exact. It's the first time that I'm fasting as a married person. I wonder how it's gonna be like.

As a single man, I did my break of fast at masjid and surau a lot. Can save money. Also spare me the hassle of Pasar Ramadhan. I did'nt actually like it so much going to Pasar Ramadhan. Parking has always been a problem. Very taxing. More so when u r fasting.

Have to go now. Tonight is going to be the first tarawikh of the year.

Selamat Berpuasa. Semoga puasa tahun ini akan lebih baik dari puasa yang lepas2.

Asaalamualaikum...

Liverpool vs Chelsea - The verdict

Liverpool 1 - 4 Chelsea.

Unbelievable ? Believe it. (Borrowing Ripley's Believe It Or Not famous phrase.)

I've come to accept the fact that Liverpool is in major crisis. Defensively suspect. Offensively very incapable. There's only one man that we can rely on. None other that Mr Steven Gerard.

Crouch - Yet to see useful contribution from him.
Traore - What a disaster - gave away the unnecessary penalty.
Alonso and Garcia - too slow and laidback - not enough tackles coming from these guys.
Hypya - very ordinary display from him thus far this season.
Carragher & Riise- having difficult time playing in a team of ordinaries.
Others - not worth mentioning.

All credit to Chelsea. A great team. Abundance of talent. Played to their strength. Drogba was wonderful in attack. Terry, great in defence. Gallas too. Robben, though came in late in the match, showed flash of brilliance.

If Chelsea keep playing this well, I have no doubt in my mind that they'll go on to win the league. So many potential match winner in the team.

Still keep my hope that Liverpool will do well in Europe, though.

Keep reaching for the sky, keep ur feet on the ground.
